You Deserve to Glow. Here's How.
Three ingredients your skin has been waiting for.
Glowing skin shouldn’t be a luxury.
This takes three ingredients. And five minutes, tops. And it works every single time, booboo.
1 tablespoon alcohol-free aloe vera gel
1–2 drops of vegetable glycerin
½ teaspoon jojoba oil
If jojoba isn’t your thing because it’s too greasy, or too oily or whatever, swap it for squalane. It has a beautiful slip, and it absorbs very quickly. They both have a different texture, but you’ll know which one your skin prefers after one try! Personally, I love jojoba oil. I use it for everything…
And then all you do is mix it. Pat it into damp skin. That’s the whole thing.
The aloe is genuinely doing the heavy lifting here. It’s a humectant, which means it pulls moisture in and keeps it there. It also helps repair your skin barrier which is the invisible layer that, when it’s healthy, gives your skin that whole lit from within thing everyone is chasing. Aloe actually addresses the root cause, which is why it’s not just another trendy ingredient. You should know I love my aloe, too.
Glycerin is a one-or-two-drops situation for a reason. Use too much and you’ll know. Use the right amount and your skin just looks... full. Soft. Like you’ve been taking care of yourself. If you use too much, that’s when things can start to feel sticky. I personally don’t mind that specific feeling, but I know a lot of people can’t stand it!
Squalane’s big thing is that it’s lightweight and non-comedogenic, meaning it moisturizes without clogging your pores. It also has a long shelf life compared to a lot of other oils, so it won’t go rancid on you. And because it’s so stable and neutral, it plays well with basically every other ingredient. No drama, no reactions.
You can make a big batch of this.
And you can keep it on your bathroom counter, your desk, your nightstand. You can share it. You can make it again when it runs out, which won’t take long because once your skin finds something it loves, you’ll reach for it constantly.
Make a batch, keep it in the fridge, and use it every day for a week. What you see in the mirror afterward, that’s yours. <3
